When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

There comes a time when one must decide, is this what i really stand for?
Your thread hasn't seemed to have received any crit. on this image as a finished whole - while it is an undeniably lovely image, there are some nitpicks. (Although really this could be boiled down to 'style choice' so feel free to ignore.) The main niggle I would have of the image is the light source you've chosen - it seems to be coming down from the top right sort of angle? Anyway, the colours and level of contrast (and the snippet of background shown) you've chosen seem to suggest that it's a fairly weak dusky sort of lightsource, and the fireball being closer and quite bright would probably overpower it, or at least have a lot more influence on the colours/contrast then it does. As is, it does make sense - you have shown the light thrown off by the fireball a bit on her, but it looks quite weak, and doesn't really pull in the punch that the shape and size of the spell suggests it should. Her hair ties also look a little flat from the colouring, particularly the left with the way the red seems to cover it fairly evenly, and the shadow is fairly faint.
But you know what? Even despite that, it's an awesome piece. I really like the texture your method of colouring has given it - it feels like traditional media.

I do my thing,
And you do your thing.
I am not in this world
To live up to your expectations,
And you are not in this world
To live up to mine.
You are you and I am I,
And if by chance we find
Each other, it's beautiful.
